Hiring rooms at the
West Oxford Community Centre

WOCA now offers art exhibition facilities using the picture hanging system
installed in the Mary Town Room. Available for weekend use only.

The West Oxford Community Association building – a short walk from the city centre and close to the railway station – offers a range low-cost rooms for sports, courses, business and social meetings, and private events.

Our modern purpose-built centre contains a big bright sports/general-purpose hall, a large multi-purpose room, a sunny cafe room overlooking the park and children's playground, and two small seminar rooms. All at exceptionally economical rates.

The large hall has a sprung floor very suitable for dancing – proved in classical concerts and drama events to develop an excellent acoustic when an audience is present.

A wide range of audio-visual equipment is available locally from City Audio-Visual (corner of Mill Street).

Wheelchair access to all areas of the building including toilets. Hearing loops are in place in the large hall (capacity 150) and the multi-purpose room (capacity 30).
